The Riverfront Park/Charles River Road project aims to restore the pedestrian paths and parklands along the north bank of the Charles River between Watertown Square and the Watertown Yacht Club. It promotes clean energy transportation from the western suburbs to downtown Boston, restores the ecological health of a mile-long stretch of riverfront, and provides safe access to the Charles River Basin for residents of adjoining neighborhoods as well as visitors from outside Watertown.
