Social Workers Endorse HechtJon Hecht adds NASW MA PACE to growing list of endorsements Jon Hecht has received yet another endorsement in his campaign to win the Democratic primary election for State Representative. After meeting with the candidates, the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers Political Action Committee (NASW MA PACE) told Hecht that they have decided to endorse his candidacy. "After a lengthy interview process and careful deliberation, we have concluded that Jonathan Hecht is the best candidate to succeed Rachel Kaprielian," said Genevieve Coyle, Chair of NASW MA PACE. "Mr. Hecht best represents the values and principles our organization holds dear as he is a staunch advocate for social and economic justice. Social workers advocate for policy priorities and legislation that strengthen the social safety net that make a critical difference to vulnerable populations on the local and state level. Jonathan has demonstrated a strong commitment to these values and as such has earned the support of NASW MA PACE." Hecht was enthusiastic about the endorsement. "I have spent my entire career working to improve human rights both at home and abroad. I consider it a great privilege to receive this endorsement from a partner in the fight for social justice."
