Watertown's Arsenal Center for the Arts to celebrate 5th anniversary

WATERTOWN — Broadway performer Liz Callaway, widely known for her leading roles in Cats and Miss Saigon among others, will light up the stage at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in celebration of its 5th Anniversary on Wednesday evening, April 6. In a program entitled And The Beat Goes On, the Center will celebrate its remarkable success with:

A concert featuring Ms. Callaway’s favorite music from Broadway and beyond

Presentation to Joyce Kulhawik, long time arts and entertainment anchor at WBZ-TV, of the first annual Charles Mosesian Award for Support of the Arts

Pre and post-concert festivities.

The evening begins at 7 p.m. with a reception featuring music by a jazz ensemble led by saxophonist Larry Monroe, director of the Center’s popular American Songbook Series. The program begins at 8 p.m. in the Charles Mosesian Theater and includes an on-stage 5th anniversary celebration following the performance.
